Jacobs began her acting studies at the age of eight and was enrolled in the acting class on Saturdays at the Pittsburgh Playhouse while growing up.She performed with the Pittsburgh Public Theater where she was a perennial contender for the public's Shakespeare Monologue Contest leading her to being cast as Titania in their production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
