Elizabeth Jane Hurley was an English model, actor and performer who gained prominence in the 90s after she became Hugh Grant's girlfriend. As Grant was the center of the attention of the media due to his international movie's success at the box office with Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hurley accompanied Grant in the black plunged Versace gown that was held in place with gold safety pins. Hurley gained instant media recognition. The highlight of Hurley's professional life is her relationship with the cosmetics brand Estee Lauder. The company gave Hurley her first modeling opportunity at age 29 and has employed as models for its products especially perfumes such as Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures from 1995. Her most well-known film role was when she played Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers' hit spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999).
