The Joint Leadership of the United States Congress as well as the Congressional Award Board of Directors, give the Horizon Award special recognition. The Horizon Award is given to people in the private sector who have worked to improve opportunities for everyone Americans. It also honors people who have set exemplary models for youngsters through their achievements in life. Tom was a fantastic player and was thrilled to be included within such a highly skilled and knowledgeable group. He was a hard worker and was a great player when his Magnum schedule allowed . He was patient with us all and we loved the large crowds that replaced our usual couple of friends and spouses at the national tourney matches. ".
